Our Harbor
When you come to Chicago you need to experience a fishing charter out of Northpoint Marina.
Visit and experience Lake Michigan sport fishing to the fullest.
Known to many, as the "Salmon Capital of the World".
North Point Marina is located north of Chicago.
Our waters provide excellent fishing conditions for species such as:
Coho Salmon, King Salmon, Steelhead, Lake Trout and Brown Trout.
The famous Kenosha Reef lies a short distance out of North Point Marina.
This is without a doubt one of the best spawning and fishing grounds in the lake, where limit catches from 5-20 pounds are common.

Richard Hess, Illinois Manger Lake Michigan Fishery Program, states that every two out of three fish caught in Illinois waters are caught in our area of the lake. This is due to the Kenosha Reef's natural structure and currents that tend to hold predator and bait fish in this area throughout the fishing season. Unlike other areas of Lake Michigan most fishing is done within 10 minutes of the marina, allowing more fishing and less cruising between fishing grounds.
